How your personal data is handled on this website.
Scope
This policy applies only to the website at iceberg-labs.com. Each of our games has its own privacy policy, published on that game's page.
1. Data controller
The data controller within the meaning of Turkish Law no. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the company below.
- Legal name
- ICEBERG LABS BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİ MEDYA VE DIŞ TİCARET A.Ş.
- Address
- S.S. Bakır ve Pirinç Sanayicileri Sitesi, Menekşe Caddesi No: 10/4, Beylikdüzü, İstanbul, Türkiye
- Privacy contact
- info@iceberg-labs.com
2. In short: this site does not track you
- We use no cookies — neither our own nor third-party ones. That is why you see no cookie consent banner here.
- We use no analytics or measurement tools. Google Analytics and similar services are not installed.
- There is no contact form, membership, account creation or sign-in on this site. We publish direct email addresses instead.
- The site shows no advertising and contains no ad network component.
- There is no embedded third-party content (video players, maps, social media widgets). Every file, including the fonts, is served from our own server.
3. Server access logs
The web server hosting this site keeps a technical record of every request. That record includes the visitor’s IP address, and an IP address is personal data under the applicable law. We therefore state it explicitly here.
What the logs contain
- IP address
- Date and time of the request
- The requested URL and the HTTP response code
- Browser and operating system information (user agent)
- The referring address, if any
We use these logs only to keep the site running, to debug faults and to detect abuse and attack attempts. They are not used for advertising, profiling or visitor analytics, are not combined with other data, and are never sold or transferred to third parties.
Legal basis: the legitimate interests of the controller under Article 5/2-(f) of Law no. 6698 and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is keeping the site secure and available.
Retention: access logs are kept for a maximum of 90 days and are deleted automatically thereafter.
4. When you email us
When you write to one of the addresses published on this site, we receive your email address, the content of your message and any attachments. We use this only to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is legitimate interests under Article 5/2-(f) of Law no. 6698 and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; where your enquiry relates to a contract, Article 5/2-(c) and Article 6(1)(b) also apply.
We keep correspondence for as long as the matter requires, and for a maximum of 2 years. You may ask us to delete it sooner.
Our email service runs through an external provider, which may access your data to the extent necessary to deliver that service.
5. International transfers
The country in which our server is located and the location of our email provider are published on the Contact page. Where the server or provider is outside Türkiye, access logs and correspondence involve a transfer abroad within the meaning of Article 9 of Law no. 6698. Such transfers take place under the protection measures and contractual safeguards committed to by the relevant provider.
6. Security
The site is served over HTTPS only; all traffic between you and the site is encrypted. The site is fully static: there is no application, database or admin panel running on the server. This is a deliberate choice for data security — there is no user database that could be breached, because none was ever created.
7. Your rights
Under Article 11 of Law no. 6698 you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if it is, to learn the purpose of processing, to know the third parties to whom it has been transferred, to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, to request erasure or destruction, to request that such actions be notified to third parties, to object to a detrimental result reached solely by automated analysis, and to claim compensation for damage.
If you are in the European Union, Articles 15–22 GDPR give you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection.
To exercise these rights, write to the address below. We resolve requests within 30 days at the latest, and will not ask you for unnecessary information.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority. If you are in the European Union, you retain the right to complain to the supervisory authority in your country.
8. Children
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from them.
9. External links
The site may link to the App Store, Google Play and our social media accounts. Once you follow such a link, the privacy policy of that platform applies; we are not responsible for their practices.
10. Changes to this policy
We update this policy if the way the site works changes. For example, if analytics, a contact form or embedded content is added, the relevant sections are added here and, where required, a cookie policy and consent banner are introduced. The date above changes when we update it.
