NonoPix Privacy Policy
Effective date:
This policy applies only to the NonoPix mobile game and explains, in plain language, exactly what data is processed when you play. The iceberg-labs.com website has its own separate privacy policy.
The short version
- NonoPix has no accounts, sign-ups, or logins; we collect no personal data ourselves.
- Your game progress (solved puzzles, streaks, statistics, settings) is stored only on your device and never leaves it.
- The game is fully playable offline. The internet is used only for ads, purchases, Game Center, and a daily version check.
- Ads are served by Google AdMob; personalized ads are shown only if you explicitly allow tracking (ATT).
- Purchases are handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.
1. Data controller
For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), the data controller is the following company.
- Legal name
- ICEBERG LABS BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİ MEDYA VE DIŞ TİCARET A.Ş.
- Address
- S.S. Bakır ve Pirinç Sanayicileri Sitesi, Menekşe Caddesi No: 10/4, Beylikdüzü, İstanbul, Türkiye
- Contact
- ayberk@iceberg-labs.com
2. Data we collect ourselves: none
NonoPix keeps no user data on our servers, because the game has no account system and no user database. Your in-game progress — solved puzzles, Daily Puzzle streaks, hint coins, statistics, and settings — is stored only on your own device. We have no access to it; it is never sent to us and never backed up anywhere by us.
A natural consequence: if you delete the app, your game progress is deleted with it and cannot be restored by us.
3. Third-party services
The game uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy.
3.1 Google AdMob (advertising)
In the free version of NonoPix, ads are served through Google AdMob. When serving ads, Google may process the following kinds of data under its own policies:
- Device identifiers (the advertising identifier IDFA if you granted permission; the per-app identifier IDFV)
- Usage data (ad interactions and impression information)
- Diagnostics (crash and performance records)
- Coarse location (approximate location derived from the IP address; no precise location is used — the game never asks for location permission)
Personalized ads only with your consent: if you decline the iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, the advertising identifier is not used for tracking and you only see non-personalized ads. The game works exactly the same either way.
In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom (GDPR): before any ads are shown, a consent screen is presented via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can change your choices later from the privacy options in the game's settings.

If you have made the one-time "Remove Ads" purchase, the game shows no ads and makes no AdMob ad requests.
3.2 Apple App Store / StoreKit (purchases)
In-app purchases (hint coin packs and "Remove Ads") are processed entirely through Apple's StoreKit with your Apple Account. Your payment, billing, and card details are handled by Apple alone; we never see or store them. Purchases can be restored on the same Apple Account via "Restore Purchases".
3.3 Apple Game Center (optional)
Achievements and leaderboards use Apple Game Center. Game Center is entirely optional; it is tied to your Apple Account and governed by Apple's privacy policy. The game remains fully functional if you never sign in to Game Center.
3.4 Notifications (optional, on-device)
Reminders such as the Daily Puzzle notification are local notifications: they are scheduled entirely on your device, are not sent from any server, and appear only if you opt in. You can revoke the permission at any time in iOS Settings.
3.5 Version check (our own server)
At most once a day, the game makes an anonymous GET request to a small text file on our own server (app.iceberg-labs.com) to see whether a newer version is available. This request carries no user identifiers and no game data, and no user records are created on the server. As with any web server, the request's IP address appears in standard access logs, which are kept for at most 90 days and used only for security and debugging. If the device is offline, the check is silently skipped.
4. Data retention
Your game progress stays on your device until you delete the app. Since we store no user data on our side, there is nothing for us to delete. Retention periods of third parties (Google, Apple) are described in their own policies.
5. Children's privacy
NonoPix is suitable for all ages and carries a 4+ age rating on the App Store, but it is not directed at children and is not listed in the App Store's "Made for Kids" category. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children — indeed, we collect no personal data ourselves at all. If you do not want personalized ads on a child's device, simply decline the ATT prompt.
6. Your rights (GDPR and KVKK)
Under the GDPR and Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to access your data, request its correction or deletion, object to processing, and withdraw any consent you have given. In practice:
- Withdraw tracking permission: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, then turn off NonoPix's permission.
- Change ad consent (EEA/UK): you can update your consent choices at any time from the privacy options in the game's settings.
- Delete on-device data: deleting the app permanently deletes all game data on the device.
- Requests about data processed by Google can be made through Google's channels linked above.

7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time (for example, for a new feature or SDK version). The current version is always published on this page, and the effective date above is updated accordingly. Significant changes will also be announced in the game.
